Upon arrival we were greeted, Doreen (the host) explain all the precautions relating to COVID-19. The common area was spotless and super clean. The rooms are large rooms, most of them having valley views. Breakfast is exceptional, which is also served by the pool area to enjoy the morning breeze. You can also order some food and snacks while enjoying a dip in the pool.

“Upon arrival we were greeted by Doreen - a very kind and helpful woman who is the owner of this place. She explained everything to us... including how sanitizing stations work (which are located next to lifts, at pool deck, breakfast area, reception..) she also gave us our breakfast options and showed us to our room.

We booked the Lewza room which happens to be the one with the jacuzzi. The room is extremely spacious and the terrace is very big too. Everything was perfectly clean and not one dust particle could be seen on any surface. I am not exaggerating - this was the most clean hotel i have ever been to.

During the evening we ordered a platter and some cocktails which were delivered to our do at no extra cost. Food is really good and cocktails too.

Our stay was beyond perfect from A to Z and we will definitely visit again! Keep up the great work Doreen”

“Have to say the experience at ViewPoint Boutique Living is nothing less than that of a 5 star. The attention to detail is amazing whether it is cleanliness, customer requests and the decor itself. An extra safe place if you are concerned about covid-19. Upon a cheerful greeting, Doreen explains all the Covid measures being taken. Sparkling clean B&B from common areas, to bedroom and bathroom with staff seen disinfecting frequently.

The B&B has only 8 rooms. Lovely views from the balcony with the added bonus of sunset views over the hill. A nice pool area furnished with umbrellas and sun beds by the edge overlooking the valley and a glimpse of the sea. Food and drinks are also served by the pool and at the room. Their Gozitan ftiras are to die for with a base made from the traditional pastizzi pastry giving it a twist from the usual Ftiras. A continental and hot breakfast is served by the pool. Even the breakfast comes with that special touch. Amongst the choices, you will find a tasty salmon and scrambled eggs on Maltese bread and a nicely plated English breakfast. Doreen and her lovely staff ensure to make your stay pleasurable and comfortable. If I wondered how the reviews were all so positive, I have to say that there is really absolutely nothing to fault at ViewPoint.

“A warm welcome from Doreen and through to Zebbuga a lovely, light, comfortable double room with a big terrace. The bathroom is lovely with a porcelanosa sink (a item of beauty in its own right).

Breakfast (hot and cold) supplemented with extras such as local cheese, mushrooms, pastizzis. Breakfast eaten outside, plus platters and wine available to eat by the pool.

The pool has been creatively designed to fit to the rocks with views down the valley and to the sea. There is a shower and loo just by the pool.

We didn't have a car (and too hot to cycle!) but the bus stops just outside the hotel - just need to be organised with timings.

Doreen kind and attentive, booked local restaurants including Ta Karolina with request for good table for a celebratory meal. Provided advice on places to go, arranged our transfer back to the ferry.

I did not want to leave.

“There isn't enough words that can describe how wonderful and amazing this boutique Hotel is. My husband and I had the pleasure of staying here for 5 nights in September. From the moment we walked through the doors and Doreen greeted us,we felt like family. Our room was gorgeous with a view of the pool and Valley ( distant sea). We wanted to relax after a busy week traveling, Doreen and her young helper Anastasia ( sweetest young lady we have ever met) Bent over backwards to bring us one of their platters and recommended a lovely local wine.... All very well priced! We enjoyed the rare rain and lightening storms that they had that evening . Doreen went out of her way to give us local history, recommendations on where to eat, things to see and do and helped us arrange a 4hr private boat tour where my husband and I were able to enjoy some fishing and tour the island( she even let our guide know my fear of water, where he was so patient and constantly asked if I was ok). Breakfast each morning on the pool deck was gorgeous. Food choices plentiful from eggs, bacon, sausages to fresh fruit, yogurts,fresh local pastries and breads. Each morning Doreen's husband ( the behind the scenes chef 😉) would make alittle treat for us to enjoy.. wonderful frittatas one day and sauteed mushrooms another to name a few. We mentioned to Doreen of my husband's leukemia and how honey has helped him... Next morning she greeted us with a small jar of their honey from one of their hives for him to use and on the day we left she topped it up for us to take back to Canada . I had the pleasure of meeting her beautiful Mumma who is always there to help and lend a hand, her father in law who is always up for a chat, and her beautiful daughter. The family love shows throughout the property. If I could rate this property higher I would.... We will definitely return. My only regret with posting this review is out of pure selfishness and wanting to keep this gem to ourselves ❤️”

“If you’re looking for an affordable place to stay in Gozo, don’t look any further.
The Viewpoint Boutique Hotel has everything you need and more. The hotel is located near Xlendi Bay. It is run by Doreen who is the most excellent hostess you can imagine. There are 8 rooms, we stayed in Bajtra, a luxurious room on the second floor. Everything is brandnew, and Doreen has given much attention to the details. The room is immaculate and offers a spectacular view on the valley. Breakfeast was abundant and delicious. You can also order drinks or platters in your room or at the pool, do try them! The pool is pristine clean, with salt water.
What makes the difference is the service Doreen offers. She is genuinly interested and gives tips to visit, can book you restaurants or tickets. She is always at your service and so kind. The viewpoint Boutique Living is without a doubt, the best place to stay in Gozo. Don’t hesitate, just book it, you won’t be disappointed!”

“Perched high on a cliff-edge, this family run boutique hotel enjoys unbeatable beautiful views of Xlendi valley and beach.

Recently opened in December 2018, the 8-room traditional building offers a luxurious and relaxing holiday amid the Gozitan countryside. You will feel immediately welcome at this place by the warm hospitality of the hostess, Doreen.

We celebrated the end of the 2018 year at this hotel and looked at the first sun's rays welcoming in year 2019 from our room named 'Bajtra' (Maltese name for fruit - fig) which enjoys spectacular views. The room was beautifully designed and included air-conditioning. Lovely breakfast with a view of the outside elegant pool and a nice landscaped garden.

The hotel is only minutes away (by car) to Xlendi beach where one can relish a fresh swim (in summer) and a wide choice of restaurants all throughout the year.

Highly recommended. Will definitely return for another longer stay.”

“When you visit the island of Gozo you must stay at the Viewpoint Boutique Living Hotel which overlooks the Xlendi Valley. The hotel is beautifully appointed with balcony views down the valley to the sea. Our host, Doreen, treated us like family and looked after us so well while we were staying there this November (2019). Doreen prepared a wonderful platter of breads, cheeses and olives which we ate on our bedroom balcony as the sun was setting. The breakfasts were also great. We couldn’t recommend the hotel more highly”

The service to begin with was impeccable - Doreen, the owner was super nice with our daughter. I can truly say that she went out of her way to make sure we had a pleasant stay.

We loved all the hotel's finishing especially in the room we got to stay in.
Everywhere was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, abundant breakfast and last but not least we got to enjoy the beautiful view from our balcony.

“If you are looking for a unique experience, this is the place to go to. Upon making a reservation, you may select the room you prefer most. I choose "Harruba" which offers a nice hydro-bath tub and a fantastic view of the valley. Each room is uniquely designed to modern standard with high quality finishings. The bed was very comfortable and the linen smelled fresh. Communication with the manager, Doreen, was efficient. She also contacted me when the room was ready so we could easily visit other places in the meantime. The breakfast offered a good variety of local food. I must admit that I cannot complain of anything and will definitely be back.”
